Meet our Founder

Meet Roy, our HTA founder and leader in specialised land-based first aid training. With many years of training and practical experience on the front line, Roy is our leading expert when it comes to learning how to stay cool when things aren’t going to plan.

Roy Hopkins

From his time in the Armed Forces as a fire-fighter to working in the forestry industry (and more recently as a full-time Community First Responder with SECAMB ambulance service through the Covid pandemic), he’s undoubtedly seen it all, and brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a speciality in delivering First Aid courses to the Forestry and Agriculture industry.

Today, Roy’s vision is to ensure more people than ever can get the help they need in their most difficult times. By delivering engaging first aid courses that build confident, knowledgeable first aiders all over the UK (that last well beyond initial training), we’re bringing that vision to life one booking at a time.
